A Note on Decades
Each milestone birthday has its own shape — the people you most want around at forty are different from sixty, and the weekend you want them to spend with you is different too.
We host a small number of milestone birthdays each year and hold the calendar carefully. The estate is taken in full for the weekend, with forty-one bedrooms across five buildings — enough for the family, the lifelong friends, and the people who became family along the way. Below, the four decades we host most often, with the shape we've found each one wants.
40th
Forty, with everyone
