A Note
Wellness retreats need three things our properties most often lack: silence, generosity, and continuity. A yoga teacher cannot run a transformative retreat at a hotel where guests arrive in waves, eat from a banquet line, and leave to find their own dinner. They need a single private space they can hold for the weekend.
Moofy gives a retreat leader the entire estate. Forty-one bedrooms for participants. The Main Lodge dining room for shared meals. The lawn for sunrise practice. The pier for closing meditation. The Chesapeake just outside, and nothing else competing for attention.

What makes the weekend hold
Exclusive use of the estate
No other guests on the property during your retreat. Up to forty-one participants across the five buildings, or a smaller, more intimate cohort taking just the Main Lodge.
Indoor and outdoor practice space
The Main Lodge great room cleared of furniture for indoor mat sessions. The east lawn at sunrise. The barn for ceremony or sound healing. The pier for closing practice at dusk.
Garden-driven meals
Our private-chef partners (Chesapeake Chefs) build retreat menus around the season's garden harvest — plant-forward, allergen-aware, served family-style for the group's shared rhythm.
On-property amenities, no logistics
Sauna and cold plunge can be arranged. The waterfront for swims. Bicycles for the participants who want to ride to the Oxford ferry between sessions. The ice-cream parlor for the last evening.

The Rhythm of the Weekend
A shape that most weekends share
Day One
Arrival in the afternoon, light yoga or movement to settle in, dinner served on the long table at dusk, opening circle in the great room.
Middle Days
Sunrise practice on the lawn, breakfast, mid-morning workshop or session in the barn, lunch from the garden, free afternoon (sailing, swimming, rest), evening practice, dinner, fire.
Final Day
Final practice at the pier or on the lawn, closing ceremony, a long farewell brunch, gradual departure across the afternoon.

The places we'll hold for you
Past cohorts have practiced on the waterfront deck at first light, on the lawn under shade sails by mid-morning, and in the wide open studio when the weather turns. Closing circle at the firepit is a tradition we'd be glad to keep.
