At Moofy, we believe trust is the foundation of every stay. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it as plain-spoken as we can. If anything is unclear, write to us and we'll answer in person.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry through our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), the dates and group size you're considering, and any details you share in your message.

When you become a guest, we may collect additional information needed to host you well — billing information for deposits and balances, dietary or accessibility considerations you share, names of others in your party, and any preferences relevant to your stay.

We also collect basic technical information about visits to this website — pages viewed, approximate location, device type — to keep the site working and to understand how guests find us. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use the information you share with us to respond to your inquiry, plan and host your stay, send relevant updates about your reservation, and process payments. Occasionally we may send a quiet note about a season at the estate; you can opt out of these at any time.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Service providers we work with

To run the estate and the website, we use a small number of trusted services who may process information on our behalf. These include our email infrastructure (Resend), our hosting platform (Vercel), our payment processor for deposits, and our reservation management software. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments and processes data only as needed to deliver the service.

How long we keep it

We retain inquiry correspondence for as long as it remains useful to maintain a relationship — typically two years from your last contact, unless you ask us to remove it sooner. Guest records related to a completed stay are retained as required by accounting and tax obligations.

Your choices

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request that we correct it, or ask that we delete it. Send a note to team@moofy.com and we'll respond within a reasonable period — usually within a few business days.

If you've subscribed to occasional updates from us, you can unsubscribe from any email we send or by writing to us directly.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging stays. We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated to existing guests by email.
