Weddings on the Chesapeake
The water, the vows,
the long weekend
Held in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum,
with the entire estate reserved privately for your guests.
A Whole Weekend
Moofy weddings are not a single afternoon — they are a long weekend, opened privately to your forty closest. The ceremony is held at the Maritime Museum next door. The rest unfolds at the estate.
No two weddings here are alike. We hold one party at a time, and we plan it with you — the run-of-show, the catering, the vendor list, the where-everyone-sleeps. What's listed below is what's included; what's not, we shape together.

The Ceremony
At the Maritime Museum
The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum sits a short drive from the estate, in St. Michaels. Its lawn opens directly onto the bay — boats moored at the dock, the lighthouse at one end, the open water at the other.
Our relationship with CBMM means dates, logistics, and design are coordinated end-to-end. One contract, one team, and a single point of contact for both estate and museum.

The Reception
Catered, curated, yours
Receptions are held in the museum's event spaces — flexible rooms scaled for dining, dancing, and the long evening on the water. Our partner chefs build menus around the Eastern Shore: local oysters, crab in the right season, a small farm's worth of vegetables a stone's throw from the kitchen.
Dietary requirements are accommodated as standard. Bar programs, sommelier-led pairings, and signature cocktails built around our Lyon Rum partnership are arranged on request.
Where They Sleep
Forty-one bedrooms, held privately
The five buildings sleep, in total, up to seventy of your closest guests. We help with the room assignments — who in the Main Lodge, who in the Brick House, which family the Garden Cottage suits best, who takes the Pilot House's single room out near the water.
Additional rooms for the wider invite list are available in nearby St. Michaels and Oxford — we'll hold blocks and arrange transport.

The barn, for the small hours
Back at the estate, the barn opens for an intimate after-party — a smaller, looser space for those who are not yet ready for the evening to end. A late-night menu, a second bar, a fire outside.
