Check-In

Thank you for booking with us! We are looking forward to your stay. Below are some general check-in guidelines to look over before your arrival. Please be sure other guests in your group receive this link as well so they know what to expect.

*Please note that while Ubers are limited in the area, but we'd be happy to provide you with local drivers/shuttle services if needed.

Prior to Arrival:

Please contact our caretaker via text at 410-314-1480 several hours before arrival so we can prepare for your visit. We like to give our guests a tour and get you familiar with the property so please let us know your estimated arrival time. This is also a great time to do a walk through inspection and check for any damage at check-in to make sure there are no issues with your security deposit getting returned.

When you arrive, please proceed all the way down Cedar Cove Road past the Moofy's sign and tennis court to the parking lot.

Pets:

No Pets! But, we can make accommodations (maybe!) on a case-by-case basis. In the event that we do allow pets, there is an additional $500.00 fee.

Cleaning:

We do not do daily cleaning during your stay like you might find at a traditional hotel. If you wish to add any additional cleaning services or room refreshes to your stay for an additional fee, please reach out to us at info@moofy.com.

​

Fishing and Crabbing (Seasonal):

We have bait and fishing gear that we can assist you with upon request, please contact our caretaker. Since the crab pots aren't always baited, let us help show you how to properly catch crabs. Fishing and crabbing season is from April to end of October.

General Rules:

​

  • Please keep the home clean and tidy like you would your own home.

​

  • The only guests allowed on the grounds are the ones staying overnight on the property, no day guests. There should be no additional guests other than the amount stated on the contract for your reservation.

​

  • Please make sure to only enter the house you are renting and any labeled amenity spaces on the property. The main lodge is not for general guest use, it is rented to groups privately. ​​

​

  • No parties or events are allowed on the property. Please keep the noise to a minimum at all times to respect our neighbors.​​

​

  • Please be mindful of food outside the kitchen and eating on the upholstery or couches.

​

  • Do not rearrange furniture without prior approval from Moofy's team.

​

  • Please communicate all needs, requests, and issues before and during your stay if anything arises.

​

  • Feel free to make use of the cleaning supplies, paper towels, and garbage bags. Please be respectful and if you run out or use an entire box, replenish it for the next guests.

​​​

  • No fireworks are allowed on the property.​

​

  • Please do not smoke anywhere on the property -- this includes inside the house, and outside. In addition, there is to be no drug use and no vaping.

​

  • Please return bikes and any other toys/equipment after use so that other guests can enjoy them as well.

​

  • Please leave the pool area clean and follow the pool rules posted at the pool. Once you have left the pool area, put towels in the hamper and close the umbrellas fully.

​

  • If planning on collecting eggs from the chicken pens and need assistance-- please schedule a quick intro with our caretaker.

​

  • There is a compost pile in the garden area, compost can be put directly there. The rabbits love veggie scraps and the chickens will happily eat any unwanted leftovers! There is a black trough in the chicken run where scraps can be placed.

​

  • No Jet Ski Rentals.

​

  • Swimming in the bay during the month of July and August may be challenging due to the jellyfish. Please swim at your own risk and be cautious of this.

​

Our property has lots of fun things for you to enjoy! Please return items to the locations you find them after using them so other guests can enjoy as well.
